Landon's Biography
Elected earlier this year in a special election, Assemblyman Landon Dais has been hard at work fighting for Bronx working families. He scored a major victory after only four months in office, sponsoring a bill adopted as part of the state budget that criminalized deed theft, a practice utilized to take title to someone’s home without their knowledge. Knowing this impacted seniors in Black and Brown communities, Landon worked with Attorney General Tish James to pass this landmark bill. He’s also been collaborating with stakeholders to create safer neighborhoods, prioritizing affordable housing for his district, and creating more good paying union jobs.
Landon currently resides with his two sons and wife in Highbridge, where she was raised after immigrating from the Dominican Republic with her family.
